The Moroccan National Debate Team (MNDT) was created in March 2014, and is a first of its kind in North Africa team that competes in international debate and public speaking competitions in English. The MNDT was the first North African team to compete in the world´s biggest and oldest debate championship for national teams, the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC). The national team is governed by Morocco Debate Association (MDA), which is a non-profit organization based in the largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco, Casablanca.

Organization: The South African Schools’ Debating Board (SASDB)

The South African Schools Debating Board (SASDB) is the official governing body of high school debating in South Africa. It is a registered non-profit organisation (registration: 026-935-NPO) which oversees debating in the provinces and sets policy at a national level. Constitutionally, the primary objects of the SASDB are:
(a) Coordinating schools debating in South Africa
(b) Developing schools debating in South Africa
(c) Furthering schools debating in South Africa
